OPTIMIZED ENGINE PERFORMANCE

Engineers worked to make this already powerful engine perform more efficiently by optimizing its cooling capacity by way of a large radiator and fan and improving the air induction system.

  • The dual-path intake system draws dense, cool air to enhance performance
  • To help maintain optimal operating temperatures, the available Duramax Diesel features an integrated engine after-run cooling function
  • The integrated engine after-run cooling function can continue to idle the engine after extended and exhaustive periods of use and allows for proper cool-down of vital underhood components

  • Quickly switch between multiple traction configurations, including Off-Road mode and Tow/Haul mode, to optimize powertrain calibrations, traction control settings and stability control system calibrations for various terrain and driving conditions
  • The system will retain the Tow/Haul setting configurations for up to 4 hours after the vehicle is turned off, eliminating the need to reengage the system when returning from a brief stop on a long journey
