DRIVER-ASSISTANCE TECHNOLOGIES
The supertrucks are engineered to offer driver-assistance technologies to help make the most of your driving experience. These innovations use a combination of cameras, short-and long-range radars and ultrasonic sensors to help you avoid potential collisions and make you and your companions feel safe, secure and confident.
Safety features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read the Owner’s Manual for more important safety information.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Adaptive Cruise Control can automatically maintain a driver-selected gap time from the detected vehicle you’re following while you steer. This feature reduces the need to frequently brake and accelerate when you’re driving
ENHANCED AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST
Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist can search for a parallel or perpendicular parking space, then steer and brake your vehicle into that space while shifting gears as needed. It can also help you unpark your vehicle after parallel parking. While the feature parks or unparks, you need to remain in your vehicle and be prepared to override and take control
ENHANCED AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking works with Forward Collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with the vehicle you’re following, including at highway speeds. Radar and camera technology are used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking
LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT
Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert provides side-mirror visual alerts when a detected moving vehicle is quickly approaching or is in your side blind zone. HUMMER EVs also offer Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert, a trailering feature that can provide side-mirror visual alerts when a moving vehicle is detected in a side blind zone that is extended to trailer lengths. This can help you avoid lane-change collisions
FRONT AND REAR PARK ASSIST
Front and Rear Park Assist can provide alerts to nearby detected objects in front of or behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions at low speeds
FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING
Front Pedestrian Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with a pedestrian it detects directly ahead of you. It provides pedestrian alerts and can even automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. The system works at speeds below 80 kph during the daytime. It has limited nighttime and low-visibility performance
INTELLIBEAM AUTO HIGH BEAMS
This automatic headlamp control can turn the high-beam headlamps on and off in response to surrounding conditions
SAFETY ALERT SEAT
Safety Alert Seat uses left, right or both-side driver-seat vibration pulses to help you identify the direction of potential crashes so you can quickly take action. You can also switch to beeping crash-avoidance alerts
